On Wednesday, January 21, Abba Global Systems Philippines Inc. (AGSPI) joined Ateneo de Manila University's Job Fair 2009. AGSPI's team headed by Ms. Marife I. Mercano, HR & Finance Manager, recruited on-the-job trainees and software engineers in the Katipunan campus. About 135 applicants signed-up and submitted their resumes. The diverse backgrounds of the applicants include graduates of Computer Science, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Management Information Systems. The candidates' past work experiences varied from internships to actual employment from global telecommunications, manufacturing, and information technology industry companies.

Abba Global Systems is recruiting candidates from Ateneo for a special internal web development project. The product is scheduled for beta release in Massachusetts by second quarter of 2009. It will be the company's first own web software product.
